Jesse Barnum started writing screen savers on his Apple IIe at age 12, and immediately fell in love with computer programming. His database experience goes back to PFS:File in the early 1980s, but he started writing databases with FileMaker Pro version 2.1 in 1992. He founded 360Works in 1996, and created a niche integrating FileMaker and Java for organizations like NASA, the US Marines, and Omnicom. He has created numerous developer tools including the WooF JDBC driver and AdminAnywhere.
Jesse hosts, organizes, and frequently presents at the Atlanta FileMaker Developers group. He has been a speaker at the 2008 and 2009 FileMaker Developer Conference, the Adatasol podcast series, and FMPug chapters in numerous cities around the United States. He is certified in FileMaker 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 and is a platinum member of the FileMaker Business Alliance.
At the 2009 FileMaker Developer Conference, Jesse was surprised and honored to receive the FileMaker Excellence Award for Outstanding Contribution to the FileMaker Community.
